Seeing Auras is actually a lot easier than you might have expected and you can get started today without paying anything. Well you'll have to pay attention here. But that's about it!
Why would I want to see auras in the first place?
I've found that there is a major connection between the frequency and intensity of dreams and the viewing of auras. And it works both ways. I think both go hand and hand and are symbolic of mental/spirtual progress. Learning to see Auras may well help if you feel you are getting nowhere with dream recall.
Are you ready to start? Good. Here goes.
Try to approach this with an open mind. A healthy critical awareness is exactly that, healthy. If you go in thinking that you have no chance of seeing anything then you probably will not. Try not to place an judgement on what you are seeing, whether your judgement is positive or negative in nature. This shouldn't be about why you are seeing auras but about how. Look on them as if they were a rainbow..... I suspect I'm getting a bit ahead of myself. To rewind to the beginning.
Find a brightly decorated wall in your home, white is preferable but by no means necessary, it will just make the process easier. When I first started I used a white wall in my room and hung up one of my shirts on the nearest thing I could find in front of it. Which in my case was the handle of an open cupboard door. Anything will do as long as it is a comfortable height for you.
Once you have your object hung up in front of the bright surface stand away from it at a minimum distance of 3 feet and just look at it. It is important at this point to remind you to ensure no-one else is about at this time as it can be quite embarassing if someone walking in on you, standing there gazing at a shirt.
The chances are that after a while you will not see anything and will give up. Do not. Just continue to look at it as if your eyes were headlights. Don't focus on a specific point on the shirt in particular, just stand and look in its direction.
How do I know if I'm doing well?
Well if you are standing there for more than 10 minutes thats an excellent sign as the key to seeing auras is patience!
With any luck you will begin to notice a small flare of light spreading out from the object within approximately half an hour. When you shift your focus this light will disappear and you'll probably feel extremely frustrated as it will have taken quite a while for you to see this in the first place. Do not worry. Keep trying. With practice the light will stay around the object for longer and the light should get brighter too.
If you still can't see anything around your object - do keep trying. As with any skill in life some people will experience great difficulty in trying to develop this ability. You might want to follow the guidelines below to try to enhance your progress.
- If you wear glasses, try taking them off before focusing on the object. This is something I had to do before progressing onto human auras and it aided my auric sight immensely.
- Try this exercise just before sunrise. I've found that the soft light around this time makes viewing auras much easier than it is normally.
- Look after yourself. Make sure you are getting enough sleep and are eating well. Regular exercise in the form of nature walks, can seriously enhance your progress.
Where to go from here
Once you have learnt the basic skill I outlined earlier you can then apply it to anything. Be warned that viewing human auras tends to be surprisingly difficult in comparison with inaminate objects. It does depend quite a bit on the lighting. For example I have great difficulty in seeing my own aura during normal daylight. However when it comes to sunrise I can see it almost perfectly.
Obviously my auric sight isn't as strong as it could be and it's something I'm continuing to develop all of the time with the aid of various books and discussions with others.
Remember, persistance is key!
